Hello! It’s been a minute…more like a century since my last post. My last post was in April of 2016. I’m sad to say I haven’t kept up with blogging, but a LOT has happened! I got super busy at work, kept working our debt snowball, got engaged, started planning a wedding, got married, put my nose to the grindstone at work to get promoted, went on an awesome two week trip to Europe, moved to a new apartment, Mike got a promotion, we decided we officially wanted to move back to Michigan, and finally moved in December 2018 after Mike received a great job offer! I’m sure I’m missing a few key highlights in there as well… I do want to revisit the awesome things that have happened over the past few years and make some blog posts with the main intention of documenting the memories and pictures! Life surely is crazy.
I suppose I’m really writing this blog post to say….I’m back! I want to be more diligent about documenting the fun aspects of my life! More fun things are to come 🙂
Like I said, we have moved back to Michigan and Mike has started a new job. I just accepted a job offer this week and will be starting on Monday. I am super excited, but also questioning why I agreed to start my job the Monday after the Super Bowl! In addition to starting a new job on Monday, I also just signed up to be a BeautyCounter consultant. I will have lots of more posts regarding this. Our company mission of educating people on the harmful ingredients in their beauty products is something my heart is so passionate about. Even beyond the products that BeautyCounter creates, they truly want people to understand what is in household products, beauty products, food sources, etc. in order to live a healthier lifestyle!
In the next few weeks/months, you will be seeing posts on BeautyCounter, current life updates, and some old milestones peppered throughout. Thank you as you join me on this journey! I think part of the reason I did not keep up with my blog was because I was too focused on making everything perfect. Can I get an amen from the Enneagram 1’s in the room?! I aim to create content that is easy to read, not fussy, and true to my heart! I’m back!
