The Dave Ramsey Plan: What We’ve Learned So Far

Mike and I both graduated college in 2015, and with that, we knew we wanted to get out of debt as soon as possible. Thankfully, we only have student loan debt, but the cumulative amount was quite substantial. We started listening to Dave Ramsey when we were still in college, and we knew we wanted to follow his plan in order to pay off our debt. So with that, we decided to live on half our income once we started our first jobs after college.

The Best Salad You’ll Ever Eat

IMG_8953To our friends and family, it is no secret that Mike and I love to cook. We love food, and we love good food. In the past two and a half years of our relationship, we have attempted many new recipes. Some of them were amazing and some were just plain weird. (Wingin’ homemade ramen didn’t really go well for us.)

Thoughts on Graduating

Now that my time in college is quickly dwindling, I have recently been reflecting on my time here and have thought of a few things I will truly miss…and then some things I will not miss so much. I truly have enjoyed my college career and I will be driving away from my little 289 square foot apartment the day after I graduate with bittersweet feelings. I have had some great memories in this little apartment in this little town, and I really will miss the relationships I have formed here. The truth is, I do not know the next time I will be back here, and that is a weird nugget of information to accept when this has been my home for the past few years.
